Our efforts to make sure TALISMAN® customers have access to the most technologically advanced equipment lead Colin du Plessis to Munich, Germany to attend Bauma 2019. Bauma is recognized as the largest trade show in the world specifically dedicated to the building and construction industry. This important event, held every three years, drew in more than 620,000 professionals, construction experts, and enthusiasts from 63 countries. They gathered to learn about the latest breakthroughs and cutting-edge technology in the field. This demonstrates how crucial this event is for sharing knowledge and encouraging collaboration in the industry.
The main theme highlighted during this year’s Bauma event was centered around sustainable and digital solutions, reflecting a growing trend in the industry. As a result, the use of sensors and communication interfaces designed to collect and analyze data has now become standard features in modern machinery. In general, the evolution of machines and vehicles in the construction sector has led to significant improvements, making them cleaner, quieter, and more efficient compared to their predecessors. A noteworthy development has been the increasing adoption of electric and hybrid drive systems, which signify a positive shift towards more environmentally friendly practices within the industry.
